Animal sponsorship FAQ.
Can I sponsor an animal today?
Yes. Monthly sponsorship and one-time support are available for published animals marked eligible on the sponsorship page. Planned animals are not yet in Iron Raven's care; checkout clearly explains that support funds the developing program and that arrival is not guaranteed.
Does sponsorship mean I own the animal?
No. Sponsorship is a symbolic membership. It does not provide ownership, custody, unrestricted access, or authority over care decisions.
Is Iron Raven a nonprofit?
No. Iron Raven Wildlife Services is a for-profit business. Sponsorship payments are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations.
Where does the money go?
Payments support the overall animal-care and wildlife education program, including food, veterinary care, habitat work, enrichment, supplies, equipment, transportation, and related operations.
What happens if an animal passes away?
New sponsorships stop. Future recurring payments for that animal must be canceled, sponsors are informed, and no replacement sponsorship is created without explicit permission. The animal's memorial remains available.
Will cancellation require a phone call?
No. Signed-in sponsors can cancel an individual monthly sponsorship from their account, keep access through the paid billing period, update payment details, and view invoices through Stripe.
